Reasons to Whiten:

  • Improve your appearance
  • Boost your confidence
  • Special event
  • It's safe
  • It's affordable

In-Office Whitening:

During your procedure, we first make sure your lips and gums are protected with a barrier. We apply whitening solution directly to your teeth, making sure the application is even throughout. This is administered in three twenty-minute increments until the desired shade is reached, resulting in a typical treatment time of about one and a half hours. You also will receive custom made take-home whitening trays with 2 syringes of Opalescence whitening gel. Opalescence ® whitening gel contains 38% hydrogen peroxide and potassium nitrate. After in-office treatment, gel and toothpaste containing lower concentrations of the whitening formula may be prescribed for use at home.

Custom Made Take-Home Whitening:

Impressions are taken of your upper and lower arch to create your custom whitening trays, making for a comfortable and perfect fit. Once your trays are ready, we make any necessary adjustments to ensure the whitening gel will rest closely against your teeth for even results as you whiten at home. We offer a variety of whitening syringes to go with the custom made trays.

How Did My Teeth Become Stained?

Your teeth can become stained for many reasons; below are seven of the most common.

  • Dark foods and drinks (red wine, berries, coffee, tea)
  • Smoking and tobacco use
  • Poor dental hygiene
  • Genetics
  • Aging
  • Injury and trauma
  • Environmental factors

Why should I consider Opalescence ®?

Opalescence ® combines hydrogen peroxide that serves to whiten the teeth, with potassium nitrate that reduces sensitivity and strengthens enamel. This treatment can only be used on generally healthy teeth that are free from disease and decay.

There are a great many reasons why Opalescence ® is often preferred over other brands, including:

  • Minimizes tooth sensitivity
  • Promotes strong tooth enamel
  • Quick treatment time
  • Reduces risk of tooth dehydration
  • Proven results
